That's all we can say after every meal and snack at our house these days. The Periactin is working. Ruby eats more in one sitting than she normally eats all day. It's just so weird to see her eat. She asks for snacks and then actually all of what we give her. We haven't weighed her, mostly because we don't want to obsess. She does have some noticeable roundness in her face and her ribs aren't as visible on her back. Our next weight check is the week of May 26. Hopefully the scale shows a significant gain.
We've been busy as always. Herbie is crawling and pulling up to standing. Which means he can get to Ruby's trains. Learning to share has been rough on everyone. Ruby is a good big sister, though. She loves to push Herbie's stroller or walk along side and hold his hand. She also interprets his cries for us. She'll tell us when Herbie is done or needs a bottle. She has also started teaching Herbie signs.
We are experiencing some things with Herbie that we didn't with Ruby. Ruby never really pulled up to standing. She just waited until she could stand on her own and walk. Herbie is pulling up on everything. Which means we are bolting things to the wall. Herbie puts everything in his mouth. We are well aware that babies do this. It's just Ruby didn't really do it. She did, but not a lot and certainly not ALL THE TIME. Herbie is quick and we have to watch him so very carefully. It's funny how we can handle feeding tubes, round the clock medicines, and whatever Ruby threw at us. Give us a healthy baby and we don't know what to do. Just in case anyone is ever wondering the Texas Poison Control Line is staffed by very kind people. That and bougainvillaea flowers are not poisonous.

There was an elaborate story going on about Queen Elizabeth, her Robot, and the Thomas Christmas ornament. On the far left Thomas is taking a bath in the bathtub from Queen Elizabeth's castle. Seriously our castle has a bathtub.
